About The Position

The Lubrication Technician will work in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment, adhering to "Safety First" expectations. This role involves performing lubrication and preventive maintenance on various industrial equipment, working without direct supervision, and operating heavy industrial equipment. The technician will also be responsible for lubrication sampling, filtering, and replenishing according to ICML best practices, assisting in the formulation of maintenance standards, and providing feedback on service delivery. A strong understanding of lubrication best practices and Preventive/Predictive Maintenance procedures is required. Requirements

  • Must be able to work in a team-oriented and safety-conscious environment.
  • Must be able to work without supervision.
  • Must have working knowledge of lubrication best practices and Preventive/Predictive Maintenance procedures.
  • Must be or be able to be certified as MLT Level 1 Lubrication Technician.
  • Must maintain positive customer and employee relations.
  • Ability to operate applicable hand tools, power tools, and equipment.
  • Ability to operate forklifts or other vehicles in a safe manner.
  • Ability to wear a respirator while performing job duties.

Nice To Haves

  • AA degree in Industrial Maintenance preferred, but not required.
  • Five years’ experience in industrial maintenance/lubrication preferred.
  • Optional functions of this position will include Ultrasonic Emissions Training / Certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform lubrication and preventive maintenance on pumps, conveying systems, power transmissions, and other power-driven rotating equipment.
  • Operate and possess knowledge of simple and complex heavy industrial equipment.
  • Perform lubrication sampling, filtering, and replenishing in accordance with ICML best practices.
  • Assist in formulating preventive maintenance/lubrication standards and work procedures.
  • Provide work order feedback on discrepancies noted in service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with all company/customer regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Achieve performance expectations set forth as part of performance appraisals to include employee development planning.
  • Communicate with all team members to assist the development of short- and long-range planning in assist of the company’s goals and objectives.
  • Maintain personal tools required for your job.
  • Meet physical requirements of the job.
  • Perform assigned tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner.
  • Complete accurate and timely administrative duties, including time accounting and work order completion.
  • Maintain positive customer and employee relations.
  • Perform any and all other duties that are assigned by the responsible supervisor.
