Entry-level Lube Tech/Technician
About The Position
Valvoline Instant Oil Change is hiring an entry-level Lube Technician to provide customer service and perform preventive maintenance services that help keep guests safe on the road. Previous automotive experience is not required; the company provides hands-on training through its training program. Duties include changing oil, checking and refilling fluids, rotating tires, testing and replacing batteries, inspecting and replacing lights and wipers, performing an 18-point maintenance check, and completing other preventive maintenance services. The position is located at 8601 Coulter St S, Amarillo, TX 79119.
Requirements
- Schedule flexibility; weekend availability is likely.
- Eagerness to learn, a friendly attitude, and a desire to be part of a customer-focused team.
- Ability to review, read, and understand written and digital training materials, safety procedures, labels, and operational instructions.
- Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to crouch, bend, twist, and work with hands above the head.
- Comfort working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide top-tier customer service to guests.
