About The Position

Sands Kia in Surprise is looking for a reliable, motivated, and detail-oriented Lube Technician to join our busy service department. This is a great opportunity for an automotive professional who enjoys hands-on work and is looking to build a long-term career in automotive service. As a Lube Technician, you’ll perform routine maintenance services, complete vehicle inspections, and help ensure every vehicle receives quality care while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Requirements

• Previous automotive or lube technician experience required
• Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair
• Ability to perform routine maintenance services accurately
• Strong attention to detail
• Dependable and punctual
• Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes and routine preventative maintenance
• Complete thorough multi-point vehicle inspections
• Check and top off vehicle fluids
• Check tire pressure and battery condition
• Replace air filters and cabin air filters as needed
• Inspect vehicles for maintenance or service needs
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow dealership safety procedures and service standards
• Properly use shop equipment, tools, and supplies
• Communicate vehicle findings and service needs with Service Advisors and team members
• Complete assigned work accurately and efficiently
