About The Position

The Lube Technician is responsible for safely and properly performing routine maintenance (lubricating, fueling and cleaning) on trucks and heavy equipment. The role involves cultivating a positive safety culture, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining a clean work environment. Responsibilities include performing preventative maintenance services such as oil and transmission fluid changes, and replacement of light body components and lights/sensors. The technician will also create accurate work orders, stay updated on industry advancements through ongoing training, and collaborate with team members for efficient workflow and timely repairs.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
1 + years of related experience
Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safe and efficiently
Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.

Responsibilities

Safely and properly perform routine maintenance (lubricating, fueling and cleaning) on trucks and heavy equipment.
Cultivate a positive safety culture at the plant location.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Perform preventative maintenance services such as oil & transmission fluid changes, replacement of light body components and lights & sensors, etc. on trucks and heavy equipment.
Create accurate work orders, including what is needed, why it was done, and parts needed.
Keep abreast of industry advancements and participate in ongoing training to enhance technical skills.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of repairs.
