About The Position
Jeff Wyler Columbus Auto Mall is a family-owned dealership established in 1973, committed to excellent customer service. We are seeking a Lube Technician to join our growing team. This role involves all aspects of lube, maintenance, and repair. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, a critical thinker, and a team player dedicated to our continued success. This is a full-time position, with some Saturdays required.
Requirements
- At least two years of previous experience.
- Hands-on mechanic experience with a solid understanding of automotive diagnostics and vehicle maintenance procedures.
- Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and automotive service equipment is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during various maintenance tasks.
- Valid driver's license.
- Ability to pass pre-employment testing, including a background check, MVR, and drug screening.
Nice To Haves
- Service technician experience involving oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, and general vehicle upkeep is preferred.
- Previous dealership experience preferred.
- Knowledge of automotive systems including brakes, suspension, engines, and transmissions is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Change oil, filters, bulbs, and wipers.
- Change batteries.
- Change and rotate tires.
- Keep tools, equipment, and work areas in good order and clean.
- Be able to work as part of a team.
- Communicate well with others.
