About The Position
We're on the lookout for enthusiastic individuals to fill our Express Service Tech roles (also known as Lube Techs). As an Express Tech, you'll be responsible for maintaining vehicles, changing oil, rotating tires, and much more. Whether you're just starting out or have some experience, we welcome you to apply — one year of dealership experience is preferred, but not required! Beaverton Kia provides you with over $1,000 worth of tools — and after just 12 months, you may even get to own them. Work just four days a week, and enjoy a better work life/home life balance along with full benefits.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly and positive attitude
- The desire and ability to learn, take direction, retain knowledge and succeed
- A spring in your step with a sense of urgency to get things done completely, accurately, quickly and professionally
- Speed and efficiency; attention to detail; ability to follow directions
- Flexible schedule to cover dealership hours (the service dept is open Monday through Saturday)
- Chosen candidates must possess a valid driver's license and pass all background/MVR/drug screenings
- Impeccable attendance and punctuality

- One year of dealership experience is preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform lube, oil and filter services and perform vehicle inspections
- Maintain equipment in good working condition and maintain a safe, clean and organized work area
- Complete service assignments from service writers and service managers
- Finish tasks within allotted times; set goals, develop skills and continually increase your efficiency skill level
- Complete required paperwork accurately and on time; for each job
- Increase technical qualifications by completing required training programs for job and pay advancements
- Learn other tasks as required/requested for career growth
