About The Position

Spinnaker Oilfield Services, a leading provider of oilfield primary cementing, is seeking a Lube/Pump Technician for their Pleasanton, TX location. Founded in 2014, Spinnaker has experienced rapid growth and is a market leader in the Anadarko basin, with facilities also in Hobbs, New Mexico. In 2023, Spinnaker was acquired by RPC Inc. and merged with Cudd Energy Services. This role provides specialized support in the repair and maintenance of pumps, requiring adherence to the company’s H.S.E.&T program for safe and efficient service delivery.

Requirements

• Experience in the repair and maintenance of pumps.
• Ability to perform preventive/predictive inspections.
• Skills in diagnosing and repairing pump assemblies.
• Experience with triplex pump maintenance (inspections, lubrication, repacking).
• Ability to assist with pump tear down and replacement.
• Ability to assist mechanics with rebuilding and repacking centrifugal pumps.
• Skills in maintaining an accurate inventory of parts and supplies.
• Must be able to perform safety sensitive functions as defined in the CES Drug and Alcohol Plan.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Champions the company’s H.S.E.&T program in all aspects of work performed to provide quality service in a safe and efficient manner.
• Under general supervision, performs preventive/predictive inspections, maintains, diagnoses, and repairs the discharge/suction assemblies of pumps.
• Performs basic troubleshooting on some mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Conducts maintenance on triplex pumps, such as inspections, checking for proper lubrication, and repacking of pumps.
• Assists the pump crew with tear down and replacement of pumps.
• Provides assistance to mechanics during rebuilding and repacking of centrifugal pumps.
• Maintains an accurate inventory of all pump related parts and supplies.
• This position is required to perform safety sensitive functions as defined in the CES Drug and Alcohol Plan.
