Lube/Pump Technician for Pleasanton, TX
About The Position
This role provides specialized support in the repair and maintenance of pumps. The technician will champion the company’s H.S.E.&T program, ensuring quality service in a safe and efficient manner. Responsibilities include performing preventive/predictive inspections, maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing pump assemblies, and basic troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. The position also involves maintenance on triplex pumps, assisting the pump crew with pump tear-down and replacement, and aiding mechanics during the rebuilding and repacking of centrifugal pumps. Maintaining an accurate inventory of pump-related parts and supplies is also a key duty. This position is required to perform safety-sensitive functions as defined in the CES Drug and Alcohol Plan.
Requirements
- Experience in the repair and maintenance of pumps.
- Ability to perform preventive/predictive inspections.
- Skills in diagnosing and repairing pump assemblies.
- Basic troubleshooting skills on mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience with maintenance on triplex pumps (inspections, lubrication, repacking).
- Ability to assist with pump tear-down and replacement.
- Ability to assist mechanics during rebuilding and repacking of centrifugal pumps.
- Ability to maintain an accurate inventory of pump-related parts and supplies.
- Must be able to perform safety sensitive functions.
Responsibilities
- Champions the company’s H.S.E.&T program in all aspects of work performed to provide quality service in a safe and efficient manner.
- Performs preventive/predictive inspections, maintains, diagnoses, and repairs the discharge/suction assemblies of pumps.
- Performs basic troubleshooting on some mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Conducts maintenance on triplex pumps, such as inspections, checking for proper lubrication, and repacking of pumps.
- Assists the pump crew with tear down and replacement of pumps.
- Provides assistance to mechanics during rebuilding and repacking of centrifugal pumps.
- Maintains an accurate inventory of all pump related parts and supplies.
- Performs safety sensitive functions as defined in the CES Drug and Alcohol Plan.
