About The Position

Houchens Food Group, Inc. is seeking a Lube Technician for their Lube Center. This is a full-time or part-time, non-exempt position that reports to the Store Manager. The role involves receiving vehicles, performing requested services, recommending additional services based on inspections, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the lube center during downtime. The technician will interact with customers, perform basic maintenance and repairs, and work with skilled technicians to learn and grow in the role.

Requirements

Experience can include oil changes, basic maintenance.

Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Receive vehicles and perform services requested by customers.
Recommend services based on inspection.
Stocking, organizing, and cleaning during down times.
Answer customer’s questions about services and advise customers on recommended services.
Observe scheduled shift hours as assigned by Store Manager.
Give all customers friendly, courteous, and prompt service.
Receive, open, unpack, and check in merchandise to perform services.
Perform vehicle inspections, basic maintenance, minor repairs, and documentation.
Perform oil changes and lubrication work.
Work alongside skilled technicians to learn how to perform quality vehicle service maintenance.
Perform specific tasks as assigned by the store manager.
