About The Position
Be part of a team dedicated to growing and connecting with the local skating community. As a LTS Professional, you’ll have the opportunity to instill a lifelong love of the sport in every new student in your class.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Current USFSA membership + Coaching Accreditation OR USA Hockey Membership + Coaching Accreditation
- 2+ years of teaching LTS or skating (hockey or figure)
Responsibilities
- Lead Learn-to-Skate classes either by yourself or with a LTS instructor; lead or co-teach Advanced Adult or Aspire Academy level-classes
- Communicate effectively with both students and other LTS instructors and professionals
- Cultivate an inclusive, positive, and upbeat environment that ensures skating becomes a safe, fun space for all participants
- Monitor participants and respond appropriately to safety concerns, injuries, or emergencies
