About The Position

The LTL Specialist supports warehouse shipping operations by preparing, verifying, and staging less-than-truckload (LTL) and small-parcel shipments. This position is responsible for building secure pallets, confirming order accuracy, complying with partner-specific shipping requirements, and helping maintain an organized, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
Working knowledge of computers and warehouse systems.
Ability to organize work, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively with a team.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to verify product, shipment, weight, and dimension information accurately.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of warehouse experience preferred.
Forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Work a full-time schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and maintain dependable and regular attendance.
Build and prepare pallets for LTL shipments and small-parcel shipments for stocking partners.
Verify that merchandise matches the applicable packing list before orders are dispatched.
Confirm that shipment dimensions and weights are complete and accurate.
Prepare orders according to company and partner-specific shipping guidelines.
Inspect orders for accuracy and proper preparation before they are wrapped, staged, or stored for carrier pickup.
Coordinate workflow with other warehouse departments based on operational and shipping demands.
Help maintain shipping organization and minimize product shortages or shipping discrepancies.
Keep designated stocking and supply areas fully replenished and organized.
Support warehouse shipping and receiving requirements.
Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment, as authorized, to move products and prepare shipments.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
Follow all safety protocols, company policies, and warehouse procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.
