About The Position
Kaplan is hiring a part-time, hybrid LSAT Instructor to deliver test-preparation instruction using its curated curriculum, score-boosting strategies, and practice resources. Teachers support students in and outside of class, helping them develop logic and critical-thinking skills. The role may suit current law students, people taking a gap year or deferred admission, or others interested in lifelong education and helping students succeed. The schedule is flexible and hybrid, combining in-person teaching sessions with remote preparation. Most courses take place on weekends and/or evenings. Kaplan provides prepared curriculum and learning-science-backed resources, along with paid comprehensive training and lesson preparation. Teachers also receive ongoing learning, coaching, and mentoring opportunities.
Requirements
- Have LSAT scores within the 90th percentile.
- Be authorized to work in the United States.
Responsibilities
- Teach LSAT preparation courses using Kaplan’s curriculum and resources.
- Support students in and outside of class as they develop logic and critical-thinking skills.
- Use data to help close the opportunity gap for underrepresented students.
- Complete training and class preparation remotely when appropriate.
- Collaborate and connect with colleagues remotely.
