About The Position

Kaplan is hiring a part-time LSAT instructor to teach and tutor students using prepared curricula, learning-science-backed resources, and score-boosting strategies. The role supports students in and out of class as they develop logic and critical-thinking skills. Teachers use data to help close the opportunity gap for underrepresented students and connect with colleagues remotely while completing training and class preparation from home. The schedule is flexible and hybrid, with most courses held on weekends and/or evenings and a mix of in-person teaching and remote preparation. This opportunity may suit current law students, people taking a gap year or deferred admission, and others interested in lifelong education.

Requirements

• LSAT score within the 90th percentile.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Teach and tutor LSAT students using Kaplan’s prepared curriculum and teaching resources.
• Support students in and out of class as they work through problems using logic and critical thinking.
• Use data to help close the opportunity gap for underrepresented students.
• Complete training and class preparation, including remote preparation from home.
• Connect and collaborate with colleagues remotely.
