LPN - Day Shift
About The Position
BAYADA Pediatric Offices are hiring Licensed Practical Nurses for daytime shifts providing one-to-one care for children in home and school settings. Nurses travel to one client's school or home near them on a schedule they choose, with flexible scheduling and cases matched near their home. The role includes carrying out and documenting doctors' orders, assessing and monitoring clients' conditions, recording observations, interventions, and evaluations, and performing nursing skills autonomously in the home. Nurses receive electronic charting using Statewise, in-depth paid training and shadowing with simulation labs, and around-the-clock clinical support by phone. Shifts are 8 hours, with 10–12-hour shifts also available, including before- and after-school hours. Nurses may work part-time or full-time, including as little as one shift per week. Pay is $30–$32 per hour.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
- A current nursing license in good standing.
Responsibilities
