LPN - 1st Shift
About The Position
Holy Angels is seeking a dedicated LPN for the 1st Shift to provide medical care to residents. This role offers an opportunity for professional growth within an organization that has been a leader in its industry for over six decades. The mission is to make a difference in the lives of individuals with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities. The position is full-time with a bi-weekly schedule that includes every other weekend, working the 1st Shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Holy Angels is located just outside of Charlotte in Belmont, NC, and fosters an atmosphere of caring, compassion, and respect.
Requirements
- Valid LPN License for NC
- CPR & First Aid certification
Nice To Haves
- Nursing experience with individuals with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities
- Nursing experience in acute care
Responsibilities
- Attend to the medical care of assigned residents.
- Perform assessment planning, implementation, and evaluation into each resident’s plan of care.
- Provide clinical hands-on nursing care and treatment for children/adults with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities.
- Administer prescribed medication and treatments.
- Assist with hospitalizations and plan of care post hospitalization.
- Monitor health status and/or needs of all assigned residents.
- Provide accurate documentation using a web-based record keeping system.
- Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
