About The Position

Prairie Winds of Urbana is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our 1st shift. This full-time position offers a salary range of $30.00 - $34.00 per hour. The LPN will play a crucial role in overseeing medication distribution, creating personalized service plans, and fostering communication between healthcare providers, residents, and their families. Requirements

Current state licensure as Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Current CPR certification
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity

Responsibilities

Oversees medication distribution as stated on physician orders, ensuring strict adherence to Community medication management documentation and procedure, and demonstrating steadfast dedication to resident safety.
Upon thorough assessment, creates personalized service plans tailored to individual care needs while championing resident independence and dignity.
Cultivates communication between physicians, healthcare providers, and family, fostering an effective exchange of communication pertaining to the physical, mental, and social well-being of our residents.
Contributes toward quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.
Engages in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences.
