About The Position
UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health is offering 13-week travel contracts for LPNs at Huntington Living Center in Waterloo, NY. This role involves providing direct and indirect skilled nursing care for assigned residents, following defined policies and procedures under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The LPN will maintain a collaborative relationship with other nursing staff, physicians, and ancillary staff, and stay current with knowledge and clinical expertise through continuing education and inservice programs. The position requires the ability to provide care to geriatric residents.
Requirements
- Successful completion of Practical Nursing Program
- Current New York State Licensed Practical Nurse Licensure
- BLS certification
- Two (2)-years LTC Experience as an LPN with successful completion of supervised medication administration and written test.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion and ability to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple priorities and enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling.
