About The Position
Delaware Hospice is seeking a PRN LPN to work in Kent County Homecare. New graduates are welcome, and hospice or homecare experience is not required; training is provided. The LPN functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team to provide hospice services to patients and families and uses the nursing process to deliver quality nursing care in accordance with Delaware Hospice policy. Delaware Hospice nurses may care for pediatric patients. Specialized training and orientation are available for nurses interested in the Katybug team, which supports children from perinatal age through young adulthood with pain and symptom relief at home, while providing families with practical resources and emotional support.
Requirements
- Current LPN license in the State of Delaware.
- In New Castle County, must maintain a Pennsylvania license as well.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- CPR certification required.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in hospice nursing preferred.
- Nursing experience in hospice or home care preferred.
Responsibilities

- May provide care to pediatric patients.
