About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is a non-profit organization that has been in operation for 50 years. They offer a stable work environment with home-grown leaders and nurses who have long tenure. The role involves private duty nursing, which means working full shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours) with a single client for the entire shift, often with short commutes to local clients. Nurses will work with clients who have diagnoses such as TBI, SCI, COPD, Stroke, Dementia/Alzheimer's, Premature Birth, Cancer, and surgery recovery. BAYADA emphasizes supporting their nurses with preventive care, 24/7 managerial support, and weekly paychecks.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program (as indicated by school transcript or diploma).
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
- Directly transferable skills from hospital, long-term care, and schools.
Responsibilities
- Provide private duty nursing care for one client for the entire shift (8, 10, or 12 hours).
- Work with clients with various diagnoses including TBI, SCI, COPD, Stroke, Dementia/Alzheimer's, Premature Birth, Cancer, and surgery recovery.
- Utilize transferable skills from hospital, long-term care, and school settings to care for clients in their homes.
