About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is a non-profit organization that has been in operation for 50 years. They offer overnight and weekend cases for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs). Private duty nursing involves working full shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours) with a single client, often with short commutes to local clients. Common diagnoses LPNs work with include TBI, SCI, COPD, Stroke, Dementia/Alzheimer's, Premature Birth, Cancer, and surgery recovery. BAYADA provides support through preventive care for all employees, 24/7 managerial support, a compliance hotline, one-to-one client care, and weekly paychecks. Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
• A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
• Directly transferable skills from hospital, long-term care, and school settings are applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one client care in a home health setting.
• Work full shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours) with a single client.
• Manage common diagnoses such as TBI, SCI, COPD, Stroke, Dementia/Alzheimer's, Premature Birth, Cancer, and surgery recovery.
