About The Position
Clarendale Six Corners is hiring a hospitality-focused LPN to provide direct nursing care to residents and delegate and supervise care provided by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants. The role supports residents’ independence and engagement while delivering nursing services in accordance with physician orders, recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies. The community expects all employees to follow the LCS Hospitality Promises in interactions with residents, coworkers, and guests, including treating people courteously, anticipating needs, listening and responding promptly, and maintaining professionalism and attention to detail. The position is available as a full-time overnight opportunity, 7:00 p.m.–7:00 a.m., or as a PRN opportunity. The listed salary is $36–$40 per hour.
Requirements
- Current LPN or RN license valid in the state of Illinois.
- Knowledge of local Health Department, OSHA, and other regulatory agencies relevant to healthcare services.
- Good oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and family and social activities, and promote residents’ independent lifestyles.
- Identify medical and behavioral changes in residents, and develop, monitor, and reassess care plans.
- Provide daily reports to the Director of Health Services concerning community conditions, personnel performance, resident conditions, and nursing supply needs.
- Provide nursing care according to physician orders and in accordance with recognized nursing practice, established standards, and administrative policies.
- Ensure preventative, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services for residents.
- Coordinate nursing care with care provided by other disciplines.
- Delegate and supervise care provided by Quality of Life Specialists/Resident Assistants.
- Practice the LCS Hospitality Promises in interactions with residents, fellow employees, and guests.
