This position prepares and rooms patients for exams by obtaining vital signs and documenting pertinent health information. The LPN performs laboratory procedures, assists physicians with procedures and surgeries, and administers medications under physician orders. They provide basic patient education, follow through with necessary requests, and communicate with the healthcare team. The role also involves performing advanced clinical tasks, organizing and preparing exam rooms, and completing routine maintenance of clinic equipment. Participation in patient-centered initiatives and quality improvement activities is expected. The LPN must demonstrate knowledge and skills appropriate for the age of the patients served, understanding principles of growth and development.
