Registered Nurse (RN) - Atrium Health Levine Cancer Pineville - Medical Oncology
About The Position
This role is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in Medical Oncology at Atrium Health Levine Cancer Pineville. The position is full-time, working Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with potential for 10-hour shifts after orientation. There are no holidays, weekends, or on-call duties required. The nurse will work closely with physicians to provide comprehensive care for patients with benign hematologic disorders, hematologic malignancies, and solid tumor cancers, including rare and complex diseases. The collaborative environment includes support teams in laboratory services, infusion therapy, and pharmacy, ensuring an integrated and compassionate care experience.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
- One year of Nursing experience
Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process.
- Deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
- Utilize evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills.
- Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
