About The Position

Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) render direct patient care to an assigned group of patients in accordance with the philosophy, policies, and procedures of Northside Hospital. They participate in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care and work under the direction of the Registered Nurse in an assigned clinical area.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience as an LPN.
• Additional life support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications may be preferred in specific units.
• Visual color acuity, depending on the role in specific units.

Responsibilities

• Render direct patient care to an assigned group of patients in accordance with Northside Hospital’s philosophy, policies, and procedures.
