About The Position

Northside Hospital is an award-winning, state-of-the-art, continually growing healthcare organization. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) renders direct patient care to an assigned group of patients in accordance with Northside Hospital’s philosophy, policies, and procedures. The LPN participates in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care and works under the direction of a Registered Nurse in an assigned clinical area. The listed work hours are 8–5. Weekend and on-call work are not required.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Georgia.
• Hold American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience as an LPN.
• Additional Life Support credentials (ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc.) or other clinical specialty certifications may be preferred in specific units.
• Visual color acuity, depending on the role in specific units.
