About The Position

The PRN Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) at HOMECARE COMPANY OF TENNESSEE LLC will provide high-quality nursing care to patients in their homes. This part-time position requires the LPN to utilize their clinical skills to ensure patient comfort, safety, and well-being while adhering to the company's standards and protocols.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program.
• Current and valid LPN license in the state of Tennessee.
• Minimum of one year of experience working as an LPN, preferably in a home care or similar healthcare setting.
• Experience in providing patient care, including monitoring vital signs and administering medication.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a home care environment.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records and other healthcare software.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach to care, with a strong commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and in accordance with nursing standards.
• Monitor patient health by assessing vital signs, symptoms, and changes in condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and their families about health care needs, conditions, and treatments.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and progress in electronic health records.
• Respond to patient inquiries and concerns with professionalism and empathy.
• Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and company policies.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance nursing skills and knowledge.
