About The Position
Completes pre-operative assessments and starts patient IV. Administers medication including injections; documents medication given or prescribed by ordering physician as required by specialty. Recognizes and responds to emergency situations as appropriate. Adheres to nursing policy and procedures when documenting information in patient's medical record. Facilitates the flow of patients to maintain the efficiency of the operating room schedule.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing
- Hold an active state license
- CPR Certification
- Ability to start patient IV

- One year experience in an acute care facility preferred
