About The Position

My Health Onsite manages employer-sponsored health and wellness centers where the medical team builds strong relationships with patients. The centers offer services including x-ray, an onsite pharmacy, wellness services, and treatment for acute illnesses and chronic conditions, with prevention as a primary goal. The LPN welcomes and escorts patients, obtains and records vital signs, provides patient education, performs nursing duties and procedures, and documents care in the electronic medical record. The schedule is Tuesday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Current and unrestricted State of Florida LPN license, or a compact license that includes Florida.
• BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Patient-focused approach and exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome patients and escort them to the exam room.
• Obtain and record vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, pulse oximetry, height, weight, and waist circumference.
• Educate patients about their illness and treatment, including self-care, prevention, and health maintenance.
• Perform nursing care duties, including procedures, injections, EKGs, and phlebotomy.
• Document assessments, actions, care, treatment responses, and communications in the patient record in the EMR.
