About The Position
BAYADA Home Health Care is a non-profit organization that has been in operation for 50 years. As a nonprofit, employees are not concerned about company mergers, acquisitions, or new leadership teams. This role involves private duty nursing, which means working full shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours) with a single client for the entire shift. Nurses will work with local clients, minimizing commute times. Common diagnoses encountered include TBI, SCI, COPD, Stroke, Dementia/Alzheimer's, Premature Birth, Cancer, and surgery recovery. LPNs with experience in hospitals, long-term care, and schools possess directly transferable skills for one-on-one client care in the home setting.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by school transcript or diploma.
- A current nursing license in good standing in the state.
- Directly transferable skills from hospital, long-term care, or school nursing experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-to-one client care in a home setting.
- Work full shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours) with a single client per shift.
- Manage common diagnoses such as TBI, SCI, COPD, Stroke, Dementia/Alzheimer's, Premature Birth, Cancer, and surgery recovery.
