About The Position
This is a full-time, 12-hour night shift position for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the Clinical Observation Unit at St. Peter's Hospital. The role involves assisting in delivering patient care, including assessing needs, planning, and meeting the needs of patients in the Medical Surgical unit. Requirements
- Current NYS LPN license
- BLS
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain relationships with patients, families, physicians and coworkers
Responsibilities
- Facilitate patient care with the care team
- Maintain Patient Safety and clean, safe environment
- Other duties as assigned
- Promotes and supports an organized work environment
- Under the supervision of the RN provides quality nursing care focusing on excellent outcomes and patient experience
