Requirements
- Colorado State Licensed Practical Nurse license, in good standing.
- Must have computer word processing and database experience.
- Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills.
Nice To Haves
- 1-year experience in a long-term care facility preferred.
- 1-year experience in overseeing and monitoring other staff preferred.
- IV Certification preferred.
Responsibilities
- Join the team at Resident Care conferences and keep Resident Care Plans sharp, accurate, and always relevant.
- Master medication management—prepare, administer, and document medications according to physician orders, and stay on top of ordering and replacing expired medications.
- Keep everyone in the loop by documenting patient care issues and reporting them to the right people, right away.
- Spot signs and symptoms, use your judgment, and take action with appropriate treatment or procedures.
- Mentor and guide ancillary personnel to deliver excellent care.
- Other duties as assigned.
