About The Position
Delaware Hospice is seeking PRN LPNs to work in Sussex County Homecare. New graduates are welcome, and hospice or homecare experience is not required for training. The LPN functions as a member of the interdisciplinary team to provide hospice services to patients and families, using the nursing process to deliver quality nursing care in accordance with Delaware Hospice policy. Nurses may care for pediatric patients. Specialized training and orientation are available for nurses who wish to join the Katybug team, which supports children from perinatal age through young adulthood with pain and symptom relief at home and provides practical resources and emotional support to families.
Requirements
- Current LPN license in the State of Delaware; in New Castle County, a Pennsylvania license must also be maintained.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing.
- CPR certification required.
- Minimum of two years of nursing experience, preferably in hospice or home care.
Nice To Haves
- Certification in hospice nursing preferred.
