LPN - Mental Health Unit - Full/Part Time - Days/Nights
About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides professional nursing care in accordance with the standards of care and professional performance outlined by the Ohio Board of Nursing. The LPN works with an interdisciplinary team to promote the optimal health potential of patients and families, delivering competent nursing care based on their needs and the hospital mission. The LPN promotes a patient- and family-experience-oriented environment and acts as a change agent to meet changing census levels and the needs of internal and external customers. This position serves the Mental Health Unit at the Mathile Center for Mental Health and Wellness.
Requirements
- Nursing diploma (not a BSN).
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license from the Ohio Board of Nursing.
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Skills or competencies in ambulatory care, clinical care, family-centered care, patient care, patient education, and patient safety.
Responsibilities
