About The Position
Shriners Children’s Twin Cities has an opportunity for a full time LPN to join our team! The pay range for this position is $25.35 hourly to $39.17 hourly. Compensation is determined based on years of experience and department equity.
Requirements
- HS diploma/GED required
- LPN license in state of practice required
- BLS certification within 3 months of employment
Nice To Haves
- Certificate preferred
- One year’s nursing and/or pediatric experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Providing care for pediatric patient's ages infant to 21 years.
- Works as an advocate for patient and families in a collaborative effort with the multidisciplinary team.
- Works to achieve quality outcomes using a family centered care philosophy.
- Performs professional nursing service for patients and within the scope, ethics, and standards of practice.
- Performs routine and clinical tasks, obtains patient information, removal of casts and assists with other minor outpatient procedures.
- Takes measurements and vital sign of patients and documents in the computer.
- Performs clerical tasks including correspondence, coping, filing and other duties as assigned.
