About The Position

This is a full-time LPN position available in a fast-paced Mohs surgery practice. The role involves additional clinical coverage responsibilities throughout medical dermatology practices. The ideal candidate will be technically adept, able to multitask, and enjoy direct patient care. The position works directly under the daily supervision of a physician and requires collaboration within a team to provide quality care for complex dermatologic patients.

LPN license.

Surgery experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide direct care to assigned patients in an outpatient setting.
Contribute to unit activities and support the enhancement of the care delivery system.
Work as a team member and assist other staff members with implementing patient care.
Assume responsibility of care for assigned patients under the direction of the co-assigned RN or MD.
Participate in the plan of care and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
Contribute to patient/family education through data collection, interdisciplinary team collaboration, documentation, and communication.
Room patients.
Obtain vital signs.
Record health information in e-record chart.
Prepare patients for Mohs surgery.
Administer local anesthesia.
Perform wound care.
Apply pressure dressings.
Assist the physician during surgical procedures.
Provide clinical coverage throughout medical dermatology practices.
