The LPN will be responsible for dispensing medications and treatments as ordered by the physician, maintaining accurate records, and making notes regarding patient conditions. This role involves making nursing care assignments, instructing and supervising patient care, and maintaining a safe and orderly environment for patients and staff. The position requires comprehensive knowledge of general nursing theory and practice, including drugs, biological, physical, social, and medical sciences. The LPN will also be familiar with the organization's policies and procedures and will be responsible for orienting staff to the fire and emergency plan.
