About The Position

University Physicians Association is seeking qualified applicants for a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) position for University Vascular & Transplant Surgeons located in Knoxville, TN. Candidates must be detail-oriented and able to work under deadlines in a very fast-paced office. Applicants must be familiar with giving instructions, writing orders, and making the patients their top priority. This position will work closely with physicians to provide a seamless patient experience.

Requirements

6-months to 1-year previous medical experience
Active LPN License

Responsibilities

Floating inside the practice assisting physicians with patient care
Scheduling
Prior authorizations
Obtaining pre-certs for MRIS and CTS
Communicating test results
Phlebotomy
Administering vaccines and injections
Various other tasks
Establishing and maintaining professional relationships with physicians, patients and their families while conveying a positive image of the practice.
