LPN Unit Manager, Full-time Night Shift
About The Position
Providence Healthcare of Thomaston is hiring an LPN Unit Manager for a full-time night shift position, working with both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care residents. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Unit Manager will use their understanding of nursing principles and basic physical assessment skills to develop and implement individualized Nursing Care Plans. This role ensures the overall management of daily clinical operations and the nursing care delivered to residents. The Unit Manager will delegate the coordination and implementation of resident clinical services to appropriate staff.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing.
- Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
- Experience is preferred in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day clinical operations of the unit.
- Develop and implement individualized Nursing Care Plans.
- Ensure the delivery of nursing care to residents.
- Delegate the coordination and implementation of resident clinical services to appropriate staff.
