LPN Unit Manager, Full-time Night Shift
About The Position
Providence Healthcare of Thomaston is hiring an LPN Unit Manager for a full-time night shift position, working with both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care residents. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the Unit Manager uses a general understanding of nursing principles and basic physical assessment skills to develop and implement individualized Nursing Care Plans. This role ensures the overall management of day-to-day clinical operations and the nursing care delivered to residents. The Unit Manager delegates the coordination and implementation of resident clinical services to appropriate staff.
Requirements
- Must be a graduate of an approved school for Practical or Vocational Nursing.
- Must be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative nursing is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day clinical operations of the unit.
- Develop and implement individualized Nursing Care Plans.
- Ensure the delivery of nursing care to residents.
