About The Position

The Licensed Practical Nurse provides nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or provider to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing the nursing process in accordance with Piedmont Healthcare's Mission and Vision Statements. This role functions within the framework of their license and the policy and procedures of the organization, demonstrating professional growth and accountability. The Licensed Practical Nurse guides ancillary staff, collaborates with other health care professionals in the provision of quality nursing care, and blends compassion, caring, and technologically appropriate competency, resulting in holistic care to the patient. This position is located at the McDuffie facility in Thomson, GA, and involves three 12-hour shifts per week.

Requirements

• Graduate of an LPN program
• LPN - Licensed Practical Nurse - State Licensure
• BCLS - Basic Life Support
• Demonstrated clinical competency in the specialty area applying for

Nice To Haves

• Nursing Experience in Hospital Setting
• ACLS if working in Emergency Department
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support if working in Emergency Department within 180 Days
• LPNs new to specialty will complete applicable certifications within 180 Days
