Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Practical/Vocational Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
  • Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care under the guidance of clinical leaders, ensuring every individual functions at their highest level of wellness within a safe environment.
  • Assess and monitor patient well-being continuously, proactively identifying changes in condition to ensure timely interventions and optimal recovery outcomes.
  • Administer medications and treatments safely, meticulously observing patient responses to maximize therapeutic effectiveness and minimize adverse reactions.
  • Perform vital diagnostic tests and therapies with precision, providing the clinical team with accurate data to guide critical treatment decisions.
  • Empower patients and their families through comprehensive education on holistic health, self-care practices, and community resources, setting them up for a confident and successful transition home.
