While respecting the rights of the people we support, the Nurse Supervisor will be responsible for the acquisition and provision of health care within established nursing objectives and standards, adhering to current nursing law, regulatory requirements, and to the Skills Residential Programs Nursing Roles Policy. This responsibility includes being involved in all high risk, complex health care situations to include hospitalizations, investigations, and establishing individualized medical protocols. The Nurse Supervisor will provide ongoing health care monitoring to those we support in the Residential, respite care and Lifesharing programs with consultation/training as requested from the day programs. The Nurse Supervisor will be responsible for the direct supervision of the nurses in the Residential program. Person-Centered Practices 1.
