About The Position
Phoenix Home Care & Hospice is hiring LPNs and RNs for private duty nursing in Joplin and surrounding communities. This role offers a different way to practice nursing, focusing on 1:1 patient care with one patient and one family, away from the hospital environment. The position provides consistent cases and schedules, weekly pay, and opportunities for supplemental income. Premium pay is offered for weekday overnights, weekend days, and weekend overnights.
Requirements
- LPN or RN license
- Ability to provide 1:1 patient care
- Willingness to work specific shifts (e.g., Mon or Thurs 3p to 11p)
- Ability to work with a flexible schedule to gain additional hours or shifts.
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric experience is a plus
- Experience with the PDN side of nursing
