LPN/RN Dedicated Pediatric PDN Overnights (Pediatric to Young Adult)
About The Position
Pediatric Private Duty Nurse (PDN) – RN/LPN – South East Kansas. This role offers 1:1 care in the patient's home, allowing nurses to focus on providing dedicated care. Several cases are currently open across the region, offering flexibility in scheduling (days, nights, or weekends). Many cases involve trach, vent, or G-tube care, providing an opportunity to utilize skills with complex pediatric needs. Pay is discussed openly at the interview and is based on experience. This role is ideal for those coming from a hospital floor seeking depth over volume, nursing students needing hands-on hours, or semi-retired nurses looking for meaningful part-time work.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license
- Eligible to work in the United States
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric experience is a plus (training provided!)
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled, 1:1 nursing care in a family's home.
- Manage complex needs such as trach/vent support and G-tube feeding.
- Monitor patients for changes in condition.
- Build a trusting relationship with the patient and their family.
