LPN - Respiratory Therapy (Fulltime: Days)
About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Respiratory Therapy provides direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in collaboration with Respiratory Therapists and physicians. This position supports the Respiratory Therapy Department by administering prescribed respiratory treatments, assisting with pulmonary care, coordinating respiratory equipment and supplies, and responding to patient care needs in a fast-paced acute care environment. The LPN ensures safe, compassionate, and efficient care while adhering to hospital policies, physician orders, and regulatory standards.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing (LPN) program
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Alabama
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Passing a pre-employment drug screening is required
