About The Position
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct patient care and clinical support in the Primary Care Offices. The LPN works closely with the entire care team and other healthcare professionals to provide safe, efficient, and compassionate care to patients within the Outpatient Primary Care office.
Requirements
- New York State license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
- Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
Responsibilities
- Perform patient assessments and document patient information
- Provide patient education regarding care
- Administer treatments, medications, and injections as ordered.
- Assist providers with examinations and minor procedures
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Follow infection-control, safety, HIPAA, and organizational policies and procedures.
- Maintain clean, organized, and properly stocked clinical areas.
