LPN Pediatric Home Health Night Nurse
About The Position
Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is seeking Night Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) to provide direct, one-on-one medical care to medically fragile infants, children, and/or adolescents in their homes. The role involves focusing on the medical needs and treatment according to the active plan of care, conducting ongoing patient assessments, administering prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies, and coordinating care. Nurses will also educate family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes and implement preventative initiatives to protect the quality of care.
Requirements
- Active LPN/LVN license (New Grads Welcome, training provided!)
- Provide care in a client home setting
- Ability to make a positive and lasting impression!
Responsibilities
- Focus on the medical needs and treatment of infants, children, and/or adolescents primarily in their home according to the active plan of care, as given by the physician and other appropriate personnel.
- Conduct on-going patient care and assessments.
- Administration of prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies.
- Coordination of care
- Educate family members on patient clinical care to enhance positive outcomes
- Preventative initiatives to protect quality of care for patient
