About The Position

Tryfacta is seeking an LPN Outpatient Clinics professional for a 13-week contract assignment with a client in West Hollywood, California. The role follows a day schedule of five 8-hour shifts, from 08:00 to 17:00, and pays $42 to $48 per hour. The position involves outpatient clinic care, including patient intake, specimen handling, catheter care, and assisting with procedures. Tryfacta is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.

Requirements

• Two years of ambulatory/outpatient clinic experience.
• California LVN credential.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC only.
• IV and blood withdrawal skills/certification.
• Epic experience required.

Responsibilities

• Room and intake approximately 30 patients per day, including obtaining vital signs, reviewing medical histories, and performing medication reconciliation.
• Collect, label, and handle urine specimens according to clinic protocols.
• Perform bladder scans to assess post-void residual urine volume and document results.
• Insert and remove Foley catheters in accordance with provider orders and clinic protocols.
• Perform voiding trials and monitor patients' ability to urinate following catheter removal.
• Assist physicians and physician assistants with cystoscopies and prostate biopsy procedures.
• Prepare patients, procedure rooms, and equipment before examinations and procedures.
• Monitor patients during and after procedures, provide appropriate patient education, and report abnormal findings to the provider.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with infection control, safety, and documentation standards.
