About The Position

Provides nursing assistance and patient care to provide for the comfort, safety and personal needs of patients. Assists physicians/physician assistants/nurse practitioners in a medical office setting. Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by a physician.

Requirements

Graduate of a practical or vocational nursing program and High school or Equivalent (for LPN Candidates)
Current, valid Arizona LPN license or compact state LPN/LVN license (for LPN Candidates)
American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification (for LPN and MA Candidates)
High School or Equivalent (for MA Candidates)
DPS Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card (for MA Candidates)
Has attended a medical assistant training program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs or The Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools (for MA Candidates)
Has a Medical Assistant Certification issued by one of the following: National Healthcareer Association (CCMA), American Medical Technologist (RMA), American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), National Center for Competency Testing (NCMA), American Medical Certification Association (CMAC) (for MA Candidates)
Has completed a medical services training program of the Armed Forces of the United States (for MA Candidates)
