About The Position

This opportunity is within our West Fargo Children’s Clinic, which is a fast-paced environment. Our LPNs and MAs focus on supporting our patients with well child care, medication rechecks, behavioral health management, same day/ill appointments, and medication and vaccine administration. The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will participate in the implementation and evaluation of patient care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. The Medical Assistant (MA) functions within the administration pre-defined scope of practice guidelines per state location of practice. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our Sanford Health Team. The ideal candidate is adaptable, caring, and team focused. Medical Assistants assist nursing staff and providers to deliver high-quality patient care in a positive environment. Requirements

  • Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
  • Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.

Nice To Haves

  • If position requires IV therapy/management skills, the following is required in North Dakota: graduation from a Board approved AASPN program where IV therapy is part of the curriculum or completion of an IV Therapy course approved by the North Dakota Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities
